Frame fans

Costech series: frame fans

The fans offered by Fandis under the Costech brand are the perfect trade-off of performance and cost-effectiveness. The ideal solution for anyone looking for good results and affordable investments.

NMB Series standard frame fans

NMB frame fans are characterised for their excellent construction quality and are designed for use when high performance is needed. Fandis has a partnership agreement with NMB and is the exclusive distributor of this prestigious Japanese brand for Italy.

Electronically Commutated fans

EC (Electronically Commutated) frame fans work with both alternating current and direct current. The DC motor is powered from a normal AC source and incorporates a PCB that manages the voltage.

Special frame fans

AC and DC fans capable of operating in harsh environmental conditions. They are protected against very fine dust and water (IP55/IP68 rating). Furthermore, their special metal structure makes them resistant to high temperatures (up to 90° C).

Accessories for frame fans

Accessories for protection against moving parts, assembly and connection of frame fans inside panels.

Additional information

EC fan technology

EC stands for Electronically Commutated. This technology combines AC and DC voltages to offer the best of both. The EC fan motor is a permanent magnet brushless motor, in which an electronic circuit, integrated into the motor, allows connection to the AC mains. The great advantage of EC fans, compared to shielded pole fans, is in their high energy efficiency. The integrated electronics (PCB) on-board the motor (stator) manages the operating parameters and transforms the voltage from AC to DC.

Axial fans

Characterized by large airflow rates and low noise levels, axial fans are used for forced ventilation and for the dispersion of the heat generated by equipment inside electrical panels, especially when these are installed in areas with restricted spaces and in presence of major heat dissipation problems.

Centrifugal fans

Centrifugal fans produce a high pressure flow. For this reason, they are used where there is a greater resistance (environmental or atmospheric) to the airflow generated by them.
