Adapter is a plastic frame that allows the filter fan to sit in a semi built-in position in the enclosure, reducing the internal depth. It is ideal when installation space within the enclosure is limited, because the adapter is screwed directly on the cabinet’s external wall and the ventilation unit can be then simply clipped onto.
